The Duncan Residence, Squamish, BC
What was once a dark and closed off kitchen is now a bright open space for the family to enjoy together. Custom cabinetry from local millworker Living Edge Design completes the transformation. The challenge with this project was to marry traditional rustic design with clean contemporary lines. Remodel also included an updated living room with wood burning fireplace and wood beams as well as a refreshed main bath and laundry room.
Horstman Lane - Whistler log home
A complete remodel from interior to exterior. The challenge with renovating a log house is that you can't just remove walls. We had to work around it to create an open and inviting space filled with light. Without loosing the integrity of a log built home, we added some contemporary elements to bring it up to date in style and function. Millwork by local company Living Edge Design brought it all together.
